The Equipment is fully solid state and will consist of a single enclosure consisting of the following parts:
(1) A Control Panel housing the Main MCB, 3 phase Power Transformer, and Digital Controller for indication and control of all formation channels.
(2) Two cabinet of Charge/Discharge Formation rectifier with Rating 360V/60A-1 20A.
All circuits are individually electrically isolated from each other, and each with Their own front panel indications, protections, interlocks and calibration points as per the Specifications listed below.
Suitable Surface treatment will be given to the sheet metal parts (acid resistant Epoxy painting) and to the PCB’s (clear conformal coating) to prevent damage in acidic environments.
Control Panel is supplied in a sheet metal enclosure degree of protection IP20 duly powder coated in Gray shade RAL 7032. All sub-assemblies are engineered to withstand the corrosive, dusty & high ambient temp conditions in Industrial Battery Manufacturing environments.
The arrangement is of the solid state secondary control type. It consists of a main power transformer followed by full wave fully controlled bridge IGBT Rectifiers. Contactor isolation is provided for each Battery Circuit. MCB is provided for each circuit. Fuse protection is provided at DC side of each circuit.
Suitably sized chokes are included for each charge circuit.
Transformer and Charge Circuits are forced air Cooled.

The equipment is based on special DC bus-bar patent technology which is taking IGBT as main circuit, it can directly make use of the discharging energy through rational charging/discharging action among several equipment. GH type specialized on DC bus-bar recovery, while GHA type specialized on energy recovery, it can make unwanted electricity back to AC grid, so GHA type has a more obvious energy-saving effect. With microprocessor-controlled HF charging/discharging technology, each circuit is controlled by a microprocessor, which having reliable, easy-operated and self-inspected functions, as well as low harmonic pollution, high power factor and stable output DC current.
Setting and storing many formation modes and parameters of different types of battery. Providing the following operation modes: constant-current charging, constant-voltage charging, constant voltage with current-limited charging, constant-current with voltage-limited discharging, cycling and pause; State shifting by time setting/voltage setting/Ah setting, recording operation data at setting time; Protecting against overcurrent, overvoltage and open circuit. Power off data logging, and automatic power on recovering; Protecting against battery anti-connection, over-discharging and output short circuit, and providing power off protection; Displaying on LED operation data and cause of troubles. Central network control and data processing when connected with PC via interface.
